Hello! 👋
Or should that be goodbye? 🤔
Perhaps it’s just farewell.
The end of year lists have been scoured, the Quiz of the Year rounds have been written and the Christmas archives have been dusted down and spruced up for 2020.
Christmas and New Year comes early when you’re a quizmaster. You need to be looking two or three months ahead to make sure you can provide the breadth of questions that the end of the year deserves! 🎄
This year has been no exception and already I’ve shared with many of you about the range of questions and quiz rounds available for you to use with your customers, friends and families, completely free of charge.
Our quiz site was created for Christmas, in 2015.
I’d been looking around the internet for quiz questions to use in a family quiz on Christmas Day and I struggled to find anything good and free, so I decided to start writing and publishing my own. With more than a little help from my dad ‘Quizmaster I’, we’ve now written thousands, easily over ten thousand questions!
It’s fair to say it’s been a bit of an obsession at times… a fun one though! 🤓
That’s why it’s important we take the breaks when we can, so as I say, the Christmas break has come early for us this year.
Don’t worry though, we’ve double-checked we’ve got all of your Christmas quizmaster needs covered this year. As I mentioned last week, we’ve rounds covering Christmas film favourites, festive food and drink, Christmas hits, carols, Christmas general knowledge and our ever popular advent quiz rounds.
You can see them all for yourself in our Christmas archives.
These weekly emails will be paused until January, though I may well be in touch one more time to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
The Weekly News Quizzes will still be posted on the site each Saturday morning, plus the podcast episodes will continue on Spotify and iTunes.
For now, thank you for your support this year. Love to you and your families, go well and happy quizzing! ✌️
We’ll be raring to go in 2021!
