Hello! đ
As I was telling you last week, 2020 has been a strange old year for quizmasters.
It may be sometime since you last received an email from Pub Quiz HQ, but thank you very much for subscribing my newsletter.
Obviously, this is natural, particularly through Lockdown II. The weather has shifted, lots of people are understandably âzoomed outâ, itâs dark by 5pm and thereâs no pub with its lure of alcohol, bags of crisps and warm nights by the fire.
As any good quizzer worth their salt knows, thereâs a quote often attributed to Napoleon which calls Britain âa nation of shopkeepersâ. This year has shown Britain is in fact a ânation of quizmastersâ.
There is hope that pubs will be able to open their doors again in the coming weeks, certainly in some areas of the country. A quiz night is a great way to draw the locals in, especially on what would otherwise be a quiet night.
This newsletter and our website aims to make the process of creating your quizzes as easy as possible. If you run quizzes yourself and youâve got any suggestions on how we could improve the service, please let me know by replying to this email.
Your feedback is really helpful. I want to make this service as valuable to you as possible!
Now for todayâs email teaser:
